We believe that meeting the person where they are at is an essential part of the therapeutic journey. Together we can build a plan to help you achieve your goals. We give our clients the right tools to make better decisions and improve day-day-living. We offer a counseling approach that is uniquely catered to your individualized needs.
We understand that taking a step toward help can be difficult. We know that just making that initial call or completing an online form can feel overwhelming and challenging. We understand that you may feel stuck, hopeless, and afraid. We know you may feel uncertain about what the future may hold. We understand that you may be uncertain about the process of mental health therapy and may have many questions getting started or along the way. We want you to know that is OK. You are OK.
Take a moment right now if you can. We want you to close your eyes or lower your gaze. We want you to take a few deep slow breaths, breathing in and counting 1-5 and breathing out releasing 5-10. Notice your abdomen rise and fall as you breathe. We want you to put your hand on your heart and say out loud softly or loudly “In this moment, IM OK” Gently open your eyes or redirect your gaze back to the room. Notice what you are feeling, seeing, smelling, tasting, and hearing. These are some of the grounding and mindfulness tools we will help you to learn while working with Modern Mental Health.
We want you to imagine your best version of yourself. What does that look like for you? What motivates you? What tools do you need to reach your goals?
At Modern Mental Health, We will walk you through the steps and be that sounding board/empathetic listening ear to support and help you grow into the best version of yourself.
